Foundation purpose & goal

The purpose of the foundation is to promote understanding and reconciliation among the peoples of Europe, especially between Germans and Russians, as important nations for the peace of Europe and the world, by means of intercultural exchange. The promotion of musical theater, instrumental music, performing and visual arts is a central purpose of the foundation with the aim of promoting mutual understanding, tolerance and emphasizing the commonalities of peoples, religions and ethnic groups by building stable cultural bridges.

For your donation the FOUNDATION-VINZBERG will issue you with a corresponding confirmation or receipt and thank you with a gift.

Our current funding goals
• Presentation concert in the Russian House Berlin (approx. € 7,000 for fees, trips and accommodation)
• Orchestra recordings and CD production (€ 18,000 for production, marketing)
• Completion of the opera (€ 250,000 for libretto, composition and score - research, collaborations, orders)
• Further presentation concerts in Germany (approx. € 7,000 each for fees, rent, trips)
• Participation in the Katharina Ball in Zerbst in September 2020 with the Central German Chamber Philharmonic
• 2020 Foundation and opening of the Zerbst-Dornburg Castle Festival, including premiere of the opera (1.8 - 2 million €)
• Continuation & expansion of the festival to a national event (expansion of the festival)
• Guest tour through Russia in 2029 on the occasion of the 300th birthday of Catherine II.
